As an industry resource and support solution, MultiSoft is preparing itself for the surge that the network marketing and direct sales industry is about to undergo.

While other sectors of the economy begin to suffer under the weight of the impending recession, the network marketing and direct sales industry will explode.

Why is this? Historically, as the economy cools, moves toward recession and traditional means of earning money becomes less abundant, the inevitable happens. People turn their pursuits towards post secondary education and home-based businesses to fill the void.

Corporate America in turn begins to offer home-based business opportunities that meet the evolving economy. This evolution is again underway - MultiSoft was very recently contacted by one company listed in the Fortune 100 and another in the Fortune 500 about expanding their distribution methods into the network marketing and direct sales industry.

While currently becoming prevalent again, this trend is not new. Sprint, Mary Kay, Gillette, America Online (AOL) - all of these are companies that have launched network marketing and direct sales divisions. Some, such as Sprint, Mary Kay, Excel Telecommunications and Gillette have had success with this marketing method and continue to utilize it, while others such such as AOL have not been as fortunate or successful.

As the signals that indicate a pending recession continue to mount, keep an eye on the number of established corporations that begin to launch new direct sales an network marketing divisions or move to bolster their existing ones.

The economic paradigm will shift as time has proven. So too, as time as also proven, the corporations that drive the economy will shift to meet the current needs of the consumer and the means of distribution by which their products are available to the consumer.
