The purpose of the Area Coordinator module is to create additional commission incentives for those distributors who are willing to put in the extra effort to promote the company and make sales.
Once a company has identified a real worker who can be incentivized further, that distributor can be offered a position as an Area Coordinator. Each Area Coordinator is given responsibility over a company defined number of postal codes. If company established sales quotas are met within a postal code, the owning Area Coordinator receives a percentage override of the sales occurring within that postal code.
Company administrators can award new postal codes to Area Coordinators each commission period and even make the sales that have to be met each pay period higher and higher. The goal is to reward a distributor for exemplary performance within a prescribed geographic area.
